Have questions? Want to help? Disagree with something?
I welcome all perspectives on ending the BSA monopoly. Whether you support this effort, have concerns, or want to contribute, I want to hear from you.
What to contact me about:
Questions about the monopoly
Ask anything. If you don’t understand how the monopoly works, why it matters, or what the solution is, I’m happy to explain.
You want to help
Great! Tell me how. Are you connected to legislators? Can you organize in your community? Have expertise in legislation, trademark law, or youth organizations? Let me know.
You disagree
Even better. If I’ve made an error, prove me wrong. If you think the monopoly is justified, explain why. If you think my solution won’t work, propose alternatives. Honest disagreement corrects mistakes and bridges fractures. Alternatively, post to this site’s Facebook Group End The BSA Monopoly so others can see your opinion.
Media inquiries
I’m available for interviews, podcasts, or articles. I can provide historical context, or discuss the impact on families.
You’re an insider at BSA
If you work for BSA and want to discuss this privately, I respect confidentiality. If you have information that contradicts what I’ve written, I’ll correct it.
Response time: I’ll respond within 48 hours. If your message requires research or a detailed answer, it might take longer.
Send me a message. Opinion, suggestion, complaint, or whatever.
WARNING! If you are a youth under 18, DO NOT USE THIS FORM! Instead, send an email to billhartman@endthebsamonopoly.org and CC your parents/guardians and an Advisor or elected officer of your chapter or lodge.
